Girls from our school – one as young as Year 2 – were recently invited to participate in a Girls Football Camp organised by Birmingham City Ladies FC as part of our ‘Sister Club’ affiliation. The girls enthusiastically took part in a morning of football coaching activities then stayed to watch the Birmingham City Ladies v Liverpool Ladies FC match with their families.
Our partnership with Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club continues to flourish as tag rugby continues to be a popular lunch time and after school club activity for our children. Up to 50 Year 1-6 children access daily lunch time activities and 30 Year 3-6 children are signed up to the new after school club in the Summer Term.
The EYFS children used a long awaited visit to the MUGA (due to the recent weather!) to creatively explore using different equipment with control and coordination. The children practised a range of running, jumping, throwing and striking skills even adapting and creating new activities within their groups. Well done Reception children!
