The Year 3 and 4 footballers acquitted themselves really well in only their 3rd match together in Friday’s friendly against St Michael’s, with stand out performances from Mohammed Zaid and Jacob Aldridge. We are looking forward to this cohort of players being part of the school football team in September.
The boys’ football team drew their final ‘Super League’ match 6-6 with Green Meadow in a fantastic match and advert for primary school football. After cruising into a 5-2 lead, the boys suddenly found themselves 6-5 behind in the second half but dug deep and showed tremendous character to get back themselves into the game. We are waiting on other results to find out if we are the ‘Super League’ CHAMPIONS!
We are delighted to announce that the following children have been chosen to represent the school in a golf festival in June. They will now receive coaching from a golf professional from Warley Woods Golf Club to prepare them for the festival. Pictures to follow.
